Cilantro offers a wide variety of food for breakfast, lunch and dinner such as Sri Lankan, Seafood and Thai style foods and various types of desserts which you like. You can trust us for our high quality and affordable food items including salads and desserts.

We have all kinds of beverages served by experienced barman with a friendly service. You can have standard cocktails (mocktail) from our restaurant. As a request of our customers, we are happily arranging private functions as well.

MEET OUR HEAD CHEFS

Chef Prasantha Nonis’s Culinary Career Began Early On, Inspired by from Negombo Sun Flower Beach in 1999 as a Trainee Cook. He Joined Catamaran Beach Hotel in 2001 Under Chef Harsha Kularanthna.Chef Nonis’s Culinary Repertoire Flourished During an Internship Under Chef Gamini Thanbugala at Royal Oceanic Hotel Where He Developed and Refined His Culinary Techniques. Later in 2004 Worked For Kuramathi and Kandholoodu Resort Under Universal Group in Maldives. It was there under French Chefs Where He Extended His Skills to All Outlets of the Resorts, Landing Him at Its Fine Dining Restaurants, Pleasing the Palettes of Most Exclusive Clientele. After Spending 05 Years with Universal Group in 2009 Chef Nonis Moved to Abu Dhabi to One to One in Khalifa City Hotel as Chef De Partie and Develop the Kitchen Skills in Pastry Section. In 2012 Joined with Topaz Hotel Kandy as Chef De Cuisine and Expanded the Knowledge of Cooking in Style.2014 He Became Sous Chef at Palm Village Hotel Sri Lanka. He is a Master of Creating Ice and Vegetable Carvings and a Participator of Chef Guild Sri Lanka.

In 2017 Chef Nonis Became the Executive Chef at Cilantro in Sea Port Hotel Where His Creativity and Innate Understanding of Fresh Seafood are Helping to Guide Cilantro into the Future.

Chef Haris Larpruenrudee’s Deep Appreciation for Thai Cuisine was developed at a Young Age Growing up in Bangkok, Thailand Where He was Exposed to Authentic Thai Foods that would Fuel His Passion For Cooking. He Began His Culinary Career at the Age of 22 Working in the Ummarin Thai Restaurant in Sydney Australia. Later He Joined with Shioks Café In New Zealand Auckland. At Age 30 Haris Moved to Johannesburg South Africa and Opened His Own Thai and Sushi Bar For 11 Years. In 2012 Chef Haris Joined Back In Bangkok Life for 04 Years and Earned an Opportunity to Work in Colombo Sri Lanka. He Moved to Cilantro Negombo as One and Only Thai Nation Chef in the Area to Satisfy Thai Food Craving Tourist and Local Guests.
